4 Best Korean Hand Creams for Dry Hands, Three List Fragrance

Four Korean hand creams read on their brand US stores cost between $5.91 and $11.32 an ounce, and only one of the four lists no Fragrance entry. Two of the four list mineral oil or silicones, and one is sold out at its own store today.
This ranking compares the four by price per ounce, ingredient count, fragrance and allergen entries, mineral oil and silicone entries, and which butters and humectants lead the list. A sticker price alone hides most of that, because the cheapest jar is not always the cheapest cream per ounce.
We did not test any of these on hands. If you also want lip care for the same cold months, see our Korean lip balms ranking.
Key takeaways
- Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream has the lowest price per ounce at $5.91 ($6.00 for 30 ml). The Rose, Honey and Green Tea lists have 18 entries with mineral oil 3rd and dimethicone 8th.
- Round Lab’s Birch Juice Moisturizing Hand Cream has the shortest list at 14 entries and the only one with no Fragrance entry, but it was sold out at Round Lab’s US store on 14 October 2026.
- haruharu wonder’s Black Bamboo cream has the longest list at 43 entries, with murumuru butter 2nd, and names five fragrance allergens after Fragrance.
- Tonymoly’s Peach Hand Cream is the only one of the four with parabens (methylparaben 17th and propylparaben 21st) and the highest price per ounce at $11.32.
- Oxidised limonene and linalool reacted in 9.4% and 11.7% of 821 patients patch tested at one clinic, a selected group that says nothing about how often hand creams cause reactions.

How did we choose these?
Same method as every ranking on this site: published ingredient lists and current US prices from named stores, checked against independent sources. We did not test any of these on hands. We started from the Korean hand creams in live search results and the shopping listings, then kept only creams with a US page in dollars, a full ingredient list and a size we could read on 13 and 14 October 2026.
We left out Kundal, whose US pages show no ingredient list, and Nature Republic’s Hand and Nature line, where every cream on its US store was out of stock. We also dropped creams sold only on stores that price in other currencies or block our access, so several popular names are missing. That leaves four, fewer than we usually rank, and we would rather say so than pad the list.
Our How We Review page covers this methodology in full, including how sponsored or gifted products get handled when they come up.
What do Korean hand creams cost per ounce?
Sticker price and price per ounce do not rank the creams the same way, because the jars hold 1.01 to 1.69 fluid ounces. Round Lab prints 1.01 fl oz and Tonymoly prints 1.06 oz for Peach, so we used those figures, and we converted the 30 ml and 50 ml sizes at 29.57 ml to the fluid ounce. Tonymoly does not say whether Peach’s ounce is weight or volume, so its figure is approximate.

| Product | Best for | Price | Price per ounce |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tonymoly I’m Hand Cream | Budget | $6.00 / 30 ml | $5.91 |
| Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Hand Cream (sold out 14 October) | Short list | $8.50 / 1.01 fl oz | $8.42 |
| haruharu wonder Black Bamboo Nourishing Calming Hand and Nail Cream | Large plant butter tube | $15.00 / 50 ml | $8.87 |
| Tonymoly Peach Hand Cream | Shea butter | $12.00 / 1.06 oz | $11.32 |
1Tonymoly I’m Hand Cream: Best Budget Hand Cream
Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream has the lowest price per ounce of the four, and Tonymoly USA prints a separate ingredient list for each of its nine scents. The Rose, Honey and Green Tea lists each have 18 entries and open with water, glycerin and mineral oil, with dimethicone 8th and phenoxyethanol 9th. Fragrance is 12th in Rose and Green Tea and 10th in Honey.
The Hemp scent has a different list, with apricot kernel oil and shea butter, so the scent you pick changes what is in the tube. Moisturizer reviews classify mineral oil and dimethicone as occlusives. The Avocado and Shea Butter scents were out of stock on 14 October.
Tonymoly says the creams are not heavy or greasy, which is its wording, and the directions are to reapply through the day.
Best for: Anyone who wants the lowest price per ounce and accepts mineral oil, dimethicone and a Fragrance entry on the list. Price: $6.00 for 30 ml at Tonymoly USA.
2haruharu wonder Black Bamboo Nourishing Calming Hand and Nail Cream: Best Large Plant Butter Hand Cream
haruharu wonder’s cream is the largest tube of the four. The brand’s US store lists 43 ingredients led by water, murumuru seed butter, ethylhexyl palmitate and glycerin, with coconut oil 6th, panthenol 13th and tocopherol 14th.
The page says the formula is free from silicones, mineral oil, seven kinds of paraben and drying alcohol, which are brand claims, and the list shows no silicone, mineral oil or paraben entry. Fragrance is 38th and is followed by citronellol, geraniol, limonene, linalool and citral, so five fragrance allergens are named at the end of the list.
The brand’s directions are to apply after washing hands or using sanitizer, and to use a thick layer before bed as an overnight hand mask.
Best for: Anyone who wants a larger tube without mineral oil, silicone or paraben entries and accepts a Fragrance entry with named allergens. Price: $15.00 for 50 ml at haruharu wonder.
3Tonymoly Peach Hand Cream: Best Shea Butter Hand Cream
Tonymoly’s Peach Hand Cream has the highest price per ounce of the four. Tonymoly USA’s 24-ingredient list opens with water, glycerin, tribenhenin and PEG-20 esters, with cyclopentasiloxane 6th, cyclohexasiloxane 7th, shea butter 10th, dimethiconol 15th and dimethicone 16th.
It is the only one of the four with parabens, since methylparaben is 17th and propylparaben is 21st, and Fragrance is 18th. A colorant, RED No.4, closes the list. Tonymoly’s copy names shea butter, peach extract and adenosine as key ingredients and calls adenosine an anti-wrinkle ingredient, which is the brand’s claim, and adenosine sits 22nd of 24.
The directions are to apply an adequate amount to hands and body whenever dry. The page gives the size as 1.06 oz without saying whether that is weight or volume.
Best for: Anyone who wants a shea butter and silicone base in a screw-top pot and accepts parabens and Fragrance on the list. Price: $12.00 for 1.06 oz at Tonymoly USA.

4Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Hand Cream: Best Short Ingredient List
Round Lab has the shortest list of the four and the only one with no Fragrance entry. Round Lab’s US store prints 14 ingredients: water, birch juice, glycerin, butylene glycol and caprylic/capric triglyceride, then cetearyl alcohol, with panthenol 8th and sodium hyaluronate 13th.
The page names birch sap, glycerin, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate as its active ingredients and describes a light, fresh scent even though the list has no Fragrance entry, so the page does not say where the scent comes from. The directions are to use it as the last step of a hand care routine, with a thicker layer before bed.
It was sold out at Round Lab’s US store on 14 October 2026, and stock changes, so check the page before you plan around it.
Best for: Anyone who wants the shortest list with no Fragrance entry, once it is back in stock. Price: $8.50 for 1.01 fl oz at Round Lab.
What can a hand cream label actually show?
It shows what is in the jar, not how it feels on hands. Under FDA rules ingredients at 1% or less can be listed in any order, so position shows no amount, and one cream can carry several lists, as Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream does with nine.
A list can show ingredient families. A review in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology describes moisturizers as combining humectant, emollient and occlusive properties, with glycerin and hyaluronic acid as humectants and mineral oil and silicones such as dimethicone as occlusives. It adds that one ingredient can have more than one property.
Another review in Clinical Medicine and Research notes there is no agreed definition of moisturizer and that the term was developed by marketers. Both reviews cover moisturizers in general, not Korean hand creams.
Which Korean hand cream is best for dry hands?
No list can promise relief, but the lists show which creams lean on butters, humectants and occlusives. haruharu leads with murumuru seed butter and coconut oil and adds panthenol and tocopherol. Round Lab leads with birch juice and glycerin and adds panthenol and sodium hyaluronate.
Tonymoly’s two creams both start with water and glycerin. Tonymoly’s I’m lists glycerin 2nd and mineral oil 3rd, and the Peach list pairs glycerin 2nd with silicones and shea butter 10th. Round Lab’s and haruharu’s directions both suggest a thicker layer before bed, which is the brands’ own advice and not a result we measured. Tonymoly’s directions for both creams are to apply when hands are dry or throughout the day.
For dry skin on the face rather than the hands, our Korean moisturizer for dry skin ranking compares face creams the same way.
Which Korean hand cream has no fragrance?
Only Round Lab’s list has no Fragrance entry, though its page still describes a light, fresh scent. haruharu, Tonymoly’s Peach and Tonymoly’s I’m all list Fragrance, in 38th, 18th and 10th to 12th place.
haruharu names citronellol, geraniol, limonene, linalool and citral after Fragrance, and Tonymoly’s Hemp scent ends with limonene, linalool and Fragrance. A Contact Dermatitis study of 821 patch-tested patients found reactions to oxidised limonene in 9.4% and to oxidised linalool in 11.7%, but those patients were referred to one clinic, so it cannot tell you how often a hand cream causes a reaction.
Tonymoly’s Cherry Blossom list calls it Perfume rather than Fragrance, so a search for the word Fragrance alone misses it. Round Lab’s missing entry and haruharu’s named allergens are statements about the lists, not about how any cream performs or how your skin will react.

How do you pick the right Korean hand cream?
Start with what you want the list to show, because the four differ more on fragrance, mineral oil and silicone entries than on anything else. Then match the cream to the job:
- No Fragrance entry: Round Lab, the only one of the four, when it is back in stock.
- The lowest price per ounce: Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream, then Round Lab.
- No mineral oil, silicone or paraben entries with stock today: haruharu wonder.
- The largest tube: haruharu wonder, at 50 ml.
- Shea butter with silicones: Tonymoly’s Peach, with parabens on the list.
Every figure we compare comes from the page itself, and claims such as free from silicones or adenosine as an anti-wrinkle ingredient are attributed to the brand. Hand care sits outside a face routine, so our Korean skincare routine guide shows where the moisturizing steps fit.
Frequently asked questions
Do Korean hand creams contain fragrance?
Often. haruharu wonder, Tonymoly’s Peach and Tonymoly’s I’m all list Fragrance. Round Lab’s list has no Fragrance entry, although its page describes a light, fresh scent.
Is a hand cream the same as a face moisturizer?
Not quite. The four here give directions for hands, and Tonymoly’s Peach also says body. Face creams are compared in our best Korean moisturizer ranking.
Why does the price per ounce vary so much between Korean hand creams?
Sticker price and jar size both move it. Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream costs the least per ounce because its sticker price is low, while Tonymoly’s Peach costs the most because the jar holds about the same amount at a higher price.
Do Korean hand creams contain mineral oil or silicones?
Two of the four do. Tonymoly’s I’m lists mineral oil and dimethicone, and Peach lists cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, dimethiconol and dimethicone. haruharu and Round Lab list none, and haruharu says it is free from silicones and mineral oil.
The bottom line
Buy Tonymoly’s I’m Hand Cream if you want the lowest price per ounce and accept mineral oil, dimethicone and fragrance. Choose haruharu wonder’s Black Bamboo cream if you want a larger tube without mineral oil, silicone or paraben entries and accept a Fragrance entry with five named allergens. Tonymoly’s Peach is the shea butter and silicone option, with parabens, and Round Lab has the shortest list and no Fragrance entry once it is restocked.
Prices, sizes and stock were read from Tonymoly USA, haruharu wonder and Round Lab on 13 and 14 October 2026 and can change, so check the page before you buy. Ingredient position shows order, not amount. The patch test study we cite covered a selected clinic group, so treat it as context and not as a rate for hand creams.
Read the list for the exact scent you are buying, because versions can print different lists. For more in the category see our moisturizers category.
