5 Best Korean Sheet Masks of 2026, 70 Cents to $4.80 a Sheet

Disclosure: some links in this article are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Five Korean sheet masks sold at Ulta cost between 70 cents and $4.80 a sheet, and several of them carry a different ingredient list depending on which store you read.

This ranking compares the five by cost per sheet, ingredient count, fragrance and essential oil entries, and what the sheet is made of when a page says. Marie Claire’s April 2026 roundup of favourite sheet masks lists sticker prices and no cost per sheet, so that is the comparison we add.

We did not test any of these on skin. If you want a mask worn overnight instead, see our Korean sleeping masks ranking.

Key takeaways

  • Round Lab’s Birch Juice mask is the best overall at $36.00 for 10 sheets ($3.60 each): 22 ingredients, a cotton sheet and no fragrance or essential oil entries.
  • Cost per sheet runs from 70 cents (VT, 30 sheets for $21.00) to $4.80 (Etude, sold as a single sheet), with COSRX at $2.50 and Mediheal at $2.20 in between.
  • The same mask can carry two lists: Mediheal’s has 41 ingredients and four essential oil entries at Ulta, and 44 ingredients ending in Fragrance at Soko Glam.
  • VT lists Fragrance 18th of 52, COSRX has tea tree leaf oil 17th of 19, and Round Lab and Etude list neither.
  • Brands say 10 to 20 minutes (Etude 15 to 20), and the two studies we found used 20 minutes on the makers’ own masks, not on these five.

The 5 best Korean sheet masks at a glance

  • Best overall: Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Mask (around $3.60 a sheet)
  • Best short list for the price: COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Sheet Mask (around $2.50 a sheet)
  • Best reviewed: Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask (around $2.20 a sheet)
  • Best budget per sheet: VT Cica Daily Soothing Mask Sheet (around 70 cents a sheet)
  • Best shortest ingredient list: Etude SoonJung Panthensoside Sheet Mask (around $4.80 a sheet)

How did we choose these?

Same method as every ranking on this site: published ingredient lists and current US prices from named retailers, checked against independent sources. We did not test any of these on skin. We started from the Korean sheet masks in live search results and shopping listings, then kept only true sheet masks with a US product page and a full ingredient list we could read on 12 October 2026.

We left out Anua’s Heartleaf 70 mask because its own directions say to leave it on for 3 to 4 hours, which makes it a sleeping mask. Biodance’s Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask is left out because it already has a place in our sleeping masks ranking.

Others did not make it because we could not verify them. SKIN1004’s Watergel mask shows 4.2 oz and no sheet count on Ulta, we could not separate Laneige’s Cream Skin sheet mask list from its toner’s, Beauty of Joseon’s Calming Barrier mask was out of stock, and Olive Young’s US site would not load for Abib and Torriden.

Our How We Review page covers this methodology in full, including how sponsored or gifted products get handled when they come up.

What do Korean sheet masks cost per sheet?

Prices here run from $4.80 to $36.00, but cost per sheet separates the five more than the sticker price does. VT’s pack holds 30 sheets, Round Lab’s and COSRX’s packs hold 10, Mediheal’s pack holds 4 and Etude’s listing is a single sheet. All five prices come from Ulta US product pages on 12 October 2026.

1Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Mask: Best Overall Sheet Mask

Round Lab’s mask has the cleanest label of the five. Ulta’s list has 22 ingredients with no fragrance entry and no essential oil, led by water, glycerin and methylpropanediol, with birch juice 4th, sodium hyaluronate 9th, allantoin 10th and caffeine 20th.

Ulta describes a soft cotton sheet soaked in a water ampoule and calls it fragrance-free, which is the brand’s own claim. Round Lab’s own store states birch juice at 9,900 ppm, and its list also has 22 entries but puts glycine where Ulta shows glycerin and flower extract where Ulta shows root extract of althaea rosea.

The directions are to remove the mask after 10 to 20 minutes and pat in the remaining essence. At $36.00 for 10 sheets it costs $3.60 a sheet, the second highest of the five, and Ulta shows 4.8 stars from 52 reviews.

Best for: Anyone who wants a stated cotton sheet and a list with no fragrance or essential oil entries. Price: $36.00 for 10 sheets at Ulta.

2COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Sheet Mask: Best Short List for the Price

COSRX has a short list with a named active near the top. Ulta’s list runs to 19 ingredients, with snail secretion filtrate 4th, panthenol 6th, allantoin 12th and sodium hyaluronate 14th.

Tea tree leaf oil is 17th, which is an essential oil entry, and no fragrance is listed. COSRX’s own page states snail secretion filtrate at 35,000 ppm, a figure with no method attached, and both pages give the same 19 entries.

No page says what the sheet is made of. The directions are to apply the mask evenly and remove it after 10 to 20 minutes, then pat in the remaining essence. At $25.00 for 10 sheets it costs $2.50 a sheet, and Ulta shows 4.3 stars from 29 reviews.

Best for: Anyone who wants a short list with a named active near the top and a mid price per sheet. Price: $25.00 for 10 sheets at Ulta.

3Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask: Best Reviewed Sheet Mask

Mediheal has the largest review count here, with 4.8 stars from 2,355 reviews on Ulta. That page lists 41 ingredients with niacinamide 4th, madecassoside 18th and ceramide NP last, and four essential oil entries (Juniperus Virginiana, Pogostemon Cablin, Artemisia Vulgaris and rosemary leaf oil) but no fragrance entry.

Soko Glam’s list for the same mask has 44 ingredients, puts niacinamide 2nd, prints madecassoside at 10 ppm in 20th place and ends with Fragrance. Both stores sell it as a 4 pack, Ulta at $8.80 and Soko Glam at $8.00.

The directions on both are to wear it for 10 to 20 minutes. At Ulta’s price it costs $2.20 a sheet.

Best for: Anyone who wants the most-reviewed mask at a low price per sheet and will check the list at their own store. Price: $8.80 for 4 sheets at Ulta.

4VT Cica Daily Soothing Mask Sheet: Best Budget Sheet Mask

VT is the cheapest per sheet by a wide margin. Ulta sells 30 sheets for $21.00, which is 70 cents each, and shows 4.9 stars from only 13 reviews.

The list is the longest of the five at 52 ingredients, and Fragrance is 18th. Panthenol is 13th, centella asiatica extract 23rd, sodium hyaluronate 28th and madecassoside 48th, with grapefruit seed extract 8th and anise fruit extract, honey extract, propolis extract and royal jelly extract further down.

Ulta gives no sheet material and describes it as a one-sheet-a-day mask, and the page says each sheet is disposable and should not be reused. The directions are to use the included tweezers, fit the sheet and wait 10 to 20 minutes, then dab in the essence.

Best for: Someone who masks often, wants the lowest cost per sheet and does not mind a listed fragrance. Price: $21.00 for 30 sheets at Ulta.

5Etude SoonJung Panthensoside Sheet Mask: Best Shortest List Sheet Mask

Etude has the shortest list, 15 ingredients on Ulta, with no fragrance or essential oil entry. Ulta describes a 100% bamboo sheet and calls the mask fragrance-free, which is the brand’s own wording.

Panthenol is 11th and madecassoside last on Ulta’s list. Soko Glam shows the same 15 ingredients but puts panthenol 4th and madecassoside 5th, so order differs between stores even when the content does not. Soko Glam also says it is free of artificial fragrance, parabens and mineral oil.

The directions are to wear it for 15 to 20 minutes. Ulta sells it as a single sheet at $4.80, the highest cost per sheet here, and shows 5 stars from a single review, so there is almost no review history to lean on.

Best for: Anyone who wants the fewest ingredients and a bamboo sheet and will pay for one sheet at a time. Price: $4.80 for 1 sheet at Ulta.

What can a sheet mask label actually show?

Less than the page suggests, because the same mask can carry different lists at different stores. Mediheal has 41 ingredients at Ulta and 44 at Soko Glam, Etude’s order changes between the two, and Round Lab’s own store differs from Ulta on two entries.

Position shows little either, because under FDA rules ingredients at 1% or less can be listed in any order. The printed amounts that exist are brand claims, such as snail filtrate at 35,000 ppm for COSRX, birch juice at 9,900 ppm for Round Lab and madecassoside at 10 ppm for Mediheal at Soko Glam.

The sheet itself is rarely stated: Round Lab says cotton, Etude says bamboo, and VT, COSRX and Mediheal give no material on the pages we read. Claims such as fragrance-free are statements about the formula, and none of the pages we read attaches a method to its ppm figure.

Why does the same sheet mask have two ingredient lists?

Because the list on a store page is the store’s copy, and stores do not always match. We read three of these masks at two places each on 12 October 2026, and every one differed.

Mask First store Second store
Mediheal Madecassoside Ulta: 41 ingredients, niacinamide 4th, four essential oils, no Fragrance Soko Glam: 44 ingredients, niacinamide 2nd, Fragrance last
Etude SoonJung Ulta: 15 ingredients, panthenol 11th, madecassoside 15th Soko Glam: same 15, panthenol 4th, madecassoside 5th
Round Lab Birch Juice Ulta: 22 ingredients, glycerin 2nd, althaea root extract roundlab.com: 22, glycine 2nd, althaea flower extract

Mediheal’s difference changes the fragrance audit, because one list has essential oils and the other ends with Fragrance. We cannot tell which is current, so read the list on the store you buy from. Etude’s and Round Lab’s counts held at both stores while the order or two entries changed.

Which Korean sheet mask is best for glowing skin?

Woman wearing a white sheet mask with both hands resting lightly on her cheeks

Glow is brand language, and no list can show it. The nearest claim on these pages is Mediheal’s, which says its mask aids in fading marks and evening skin tone, with no method or sample size attached, so treat it as marketing copy rather than a result.

What the lists do show is which masks carry niacinamide. It appears only on Mediheal’s list, 4th at Ulta and 2nd at Soko Glam, and none of the other four lists it. Round Lab’s list has caffeine 20th, and COSRX and Etude list panthenol and allantoin instead. Ulta’s copy for Mediheal also names low-molecular hyaluronic acid and panthenol with ceramide as key ingredients.

If glow is the goal, Mediheal is the only one of the five with niacinamide listed, and it is also the one with essential oil entries or Fragrance depending on the store.

How do you pick the right Korean sheet mask?

Start with what you want the list to show, because the five differ more on fragrance entries and cost per sheet than on anything else. Then match the mask to the job:

  • No fragrance or essential oil entries: Round Lab or Etude, at $3.60 and $4.80 a sheet.
  • The lowest cost per sheet: VT, at 70 cents, with Fragrance 18th on a 52-ingredient list.
  • The shortest list: Etude, with 15 ingredients, or COSRX, with 19.
  • Niacinamide on the list: Mediheal, after checking which list your store shows.
  • A small pack to try first: Mediheal, at $8.80 for 4 sheets.
  • A stated cotton or bamboo sheet: Round Lab (cotton) or Etude (bamboo).

A sheet mask goes on after cleansing and toning, so our Korean toner ranking and Korean skincare routine guide cover the steps around it.

Frequently asked questions

Do Korean sheet masks really work?

A 28-day study of 33 people in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology reported higher skin hydration and lower water loss for the developers’ own mask. A 2026 hydrogel mask pilot in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science reported progressive hydration gains with repeated use but transient effects after one session. Neither tested these five and both have industry ties, so they say little about any one product.

How long should you leave a sheet mask on?

Brands say 10 to 20 minutes for VT, Mediheal, COSRX and Round Lab, and 15 to 20 minutes for Etude. Both studies above used 20 minutes. Anua’s Heartleaf 70 hydrogel mask is different, with directions to leave it on for 3 to 4 hours until it turns transparent.

Do Korean sheet masks contain fragrance?

Not always. VT lists Fragrance 18th of 52, and Mediheal’s Soko Glam list ends with it. Mediheal’s Ulta list has four essential oil entries, COSRX has tea tree leaf oil 17th, and Round Lab and Etude list neither.

Is an overnight hydrogel mask the same as a sheet mask?

No. A cotton or bamboo sheet is worn for 10 to 20 minutes, while overnight hydrogel masks sit in our Korean sleeping masks ranking. Hydrogel under-eye patches are in our Korean eye patches ranking.

The bottom line

Buy Round Lab’s Birch Juice mask at $3.60 a sheet if you want the cleanest label: 22 ingredients, a cotton sheet and no fragrance or essential oil entries. COSRX at $2.50 is the short-list value pick, Mediheal at $2.20 is the most reviewed, VT at 70 cents is the cheapest per sheet but lists Fragrance, and Etude’s 15-ingredient list costs $4.80 for one sheet.

Read the list on the store you are buying from, because the same mask can carry a different one elsewhere, and every price and list here is dated 12 October 2026. For the step before a mask, our Korean serums ranking and the moisturizers category list every ranking.
